Sophomores are beginning  a grammar unit to help prepare for the PLAN test on Sept. 22.
9th and 12th grade are starting  a grammar and usage unit.


Students interested in FEA should pay their dues by Sept. 7.

Week of Aug. 22-26, 2011

The students are doing a good job and really focusing on their classes.

We will be starting spelling and vocabulary this week and completing the unit on reading comprehension with a quiz on Thursday. Spelling and Vocabulary tests will be on Friday.

FEA will meet during 1st period on Wed. Dues are $20 and should be turned in by 9/2/11.

Aug. 15-19, 2011

English classes are continuing the unit on Reading Comprehension. There will be  quiz on Friday 8/19.

Aug. 16, 2011

Students interested in FEA- Future Educators - may give me their money ($20) until Aug. 26. Our first meeting is Wed. Aug. 24. Interested students may pick up an application from me and turn in by Aug. 26.

The English classes are involved in a unit on reading comprehension, the skills involved and techniques to improve comprehension of different materials.
